EU-GCC Research Project (2022-2023)

The EU-GCC Dialogue on Economic Diversification commissioned a study titled Exploring Synergies: Strengthening EU-GCC Collaboration in the Cultural and Creative Industries. 

The report explores the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs) in the European Union (EU) and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Saudi Arabia). It provides summaries of the specific profiles and trends within each GCC country's CCI sector. It also identifies areas of common interest and potential collaboration between the EU and GCC CCIs, including promising topics for further research and partnership development.

Khaleejesque provided the situation analysis on the CCIs in each country, including an overview of the policy and partnership context, key sectors, clusters and hubs, networks, programmes and projects.
